Our siding arrived after being back ordered for months. It arrived the day before the siding guys were supposed to come. These are our second siding guys as the first disappeared completely and even moved (bankrupt).
It showed up bright and early and showed up in a bright green color that was terrible! Nothing like our peaceful mountain green. Long story short, we went the rounds with the supplier and they gave us a mediocre reimbursement to cover paint costs but nowhere near my time of 4-5 days and a paint sprayer AND bring permanently green for a few days. I had a hard time deciding how to describe the hideous color but a friend described it pretty accurately as Lincoln Log green.
Other than that, we had our first snow and freeze. Mornings are very cold so I really need to get outdoor stuff done like deck railing and of course siding. We have three doors installed and started getting trim done. This morning we were late to church as Afton found a large puddle in the basement. We had to move a piano, all tools, sweep floors, and put fans on it before heading to church. No idea what caused the puddle so more fun coming up.
